The last few days have been my laziest in a long while. I've sat around accumulating body odour watching bad tv programs and eating. After being sick all day saturday from friday's pubs and clubs I've really been loving doing nothing at all. Feeling better now after a wonderful christmas dinner and having gotten ten new pairs of boxers, I'm once again ready to take on the irish world.
Merry christmas everyone.
To all you lovely people, I hope you're enjoying spending time with family and friends. Now, if we could only manage to gather in one spot..........then we'd be cooking.

lazy in ireland
Happy birthday kachun! sorry to hear about your flight but all is well now I'm sure.
Here we are in cork everyone. What a great place.
I've been meeting uncle's, aunt's and cousin's that I didn't know existed or hadn't seen in fifteen years.
Christmas is just a few days away.
The last time I was here I was seven years old. My folks took us all around the place and one thing I remember clearly is when we visited Blarney Castle. My dad told me some horror story about some kid falling down to his death when he leaned back to kiss the famous blarney stone, so I was too afraid to do it. The rest of my family went through with it but I just couldn't manage. Yesterday however, the folks, caroline and I went up the long narrow staircase some hundred feet up to the top of the castle and I kissed the old bugger. Apparently, kissing the blarney stone will give you the gift of eloquence when speaking.
It's all a load of crap obviously but it was fun none the less.
Fifteen years late I finally kissed that damn stone.
Tonight: pub crawl with a load of my parent's friends and their kids.
Oh!
Congratulations Stephanie on getting your new job!
You've worked hard and deserve your comfy new editor's chair.
take care all.

news
the only thing that sucks more than being dumped by the girl you love, is being dumped by that same gal through a text message, after you walked her to the train station, on the same morning that you woke up with a massive fucking hang over.
single again
I really wish i wasn't here now. I want to be in ireland relaxing.

Party on the 14th @ Rob+Brendan's in Tai Wai
I went to a cafe with Sharon last night before we went to see a new chinese movie called, After this: Our Exile.
It turned out to be a pretty good movie even though there was one strange 40 something year old guy sitting next to me. There were loads of empty seats around the theater with perfectly giving an exceptable view of the screen but this local fello chose to sit right beside me. It was only half way through the movie during an exceptionally quiet bit that I heard he was listening to music or the radio. Odd. i could see little earphones on him and he kept making frogish grunts to clear his throat.
So.
Movie good.
Man Annoying.
Back to it then. Sharon mentioned when we were at the cafe that i hadn't seen her drunk (or drinking at all) in a long time. In an effort to change all that Rob and I are having people over at our place tomorrow night.
Party in Tai Wai tomorrow night. Bring drinks and a friend! It starts anytime around 9 o'clock.
call if you like. I lost everyone's phone number's with my last phone.

cheers!

Shopping
Almost time for Ireland. Almost time for Christmas.
Figuring out what to buy people is something I'll never get used to.

beerling
It turns out that beer is stronger than bowling and due to random finger injuries I didn't actually bowl much at all. Instead I made signs and sat on the floor rating everyone's performance.
It was great!

beer and bowling
hello there, How nice of you to drop in and chat.
Less than two weeks till Ireland.
Less kids, more beer and family galore. I'm stoked.
I bought a nintendo ds for sharon as a christmas/anniversary gift. She seems to really love it, which makes me damn happy.
On tonight's agenda:
Sharon's out with friends and I'm off to sha tin after this last lesson for some beer with kachun, gabe and others...then....BOWLING!
sweet!
